HAVE YOU EVER

Ever been so drunk you blacked out:

Yes. Twice. The first time, while drunk and very stoned, I ended up trying to get two friends to have sex with each other, and, um, me (or so I'm told. Still not quite sure whether I believe that.) The second time I woke up in this guy's closet. Go figure.

Missed school because it was raining: Not once in my life.

Put a body part on fire for amusement: Do other people count? No, but I DO often threaten to burn people's hair, like approaching them menacingly with a lighter, etc.

Been hurt emotionally: AHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Kept a secret from everyone: No. Why bother? I think I resolved to keep something a secret from everyone once, and eventually I forgot what it was.

Had an imaginary friend: Yes. At the moment many of my friends are imaginary. But seriously folks, what was his name? That one when I was four? Let's see...

Cried during a movie: Sure, but not often. Most recently, the scene in Royal Tenenbaums when Margot gets off the bus and meets Richie.

Had a crush on a teacher: Yes. Quite a few. One of them presently works at my public school. A few charming professors, my physics teacher in high school in Jordan (pattern offender?), my ninth grade math teacher, um... that's all that I can think of.

Ever thought an animated character was hot: Duh. Catwoman.

Had a New Kids on the Block tape: Mmhmm. I had a copy of Hangin' Tough.

Cut your hair: Yes. I cut my own hair a few years ago, and frankly it was perfect, the best cut I ever had, but I'm afraid if I try it again I'll fuck it up.

peed your pants: I don't know. It was probably eighth grade. Bad year, that.

hugged someone: Hugged my Dad last night after meat loaf dinner with the 'rents.

cried over someone: Yesterday. I was upset about two friends who weren't getting along and got a little misty.

Fave food: Oh, god, where to start? First of all, as I rule I always order creme brulee if I see it on a menu. Second, my favorite food ever is Tom Yam Koong from Villa Thai. Perfect. Other than that, I share a certain someone's love for the tuna steak; I also love lamb chops, penne al'arrabiata, mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables like eggplant- as long as they aren't drowned in olive oil afterwards, that Indian dish with the chunks of cottage cheese in spinach, I love octopus sushi, fish and chips from the Chip Shop, raw oysters, mussels marinara, spaghetti with vongole veracci, turkey breast, anything that resembles borsch (especially from Veselka,) I like falafel and hummus and shawarma the way I used to get them from the place around the corner from our house in Amman though I haven't found anything that comes close since, I like tacos and my fallback position these days is pizza with onions and beer. I don't like pizzaz very much, but it's easy and cheap and goes well with beer.

Fave Ice cream: Don't eat ice cream. Barely ever. But when I do, it's chocolate chip cookie dough, duh.

Fave Subject: Hmm. It's a tossup. I like physics, and I like English. So I did an independent study in college on Medieval science, which was alot of fun.

Normal Drink: Vodka.

Fave Persons to talk to online: They know who they are.

clothes you're wearing now: Oddly, a top I stole from petithiboux that doesn't fit me at all (remember that grey shirt, hon? oops...), a pair of beige Calvin Klein cords, and slippers.

Who's the shyest: I think the aforementioned teacher at my public high school. We had a great conversation just before break, and when I saw her at school yesterday, she bolted. Like, BOLTED.

Who's the weirdest: Oh, god, Jeb.

Who do you go to for advice: Petithiboux, floodtide, fulminous. Sometimes J, though not often. My cousin Christopher, when it's big. He has this talent for pointing out the obvious, and reminding me of what I want.

Who do you cry to: I don't.

When did you cry the most: When I was trying to get my mom to divorce my Dad after he disowned me and threatened to divorce her, and she kept patiently explaining that she loves him.

What's the best feeling in the world: Unexpected success.

Worst feeling: Guilt.
