I'm a little worried that I'm showing the first signs of peripheral neuropathy. What I don't get is how after only seven years of being diabetic and taking (well, OK) worse care of myself than many but also keeping my HBA1C readings well below the real danger zone my feet are already tingling painfully and ceaselessly. I hope it's reversible; could be dehydration, or just preemptive hysteria on my part. Or something. Anyway, I'm quitting smoking today. And taking up jogging (tomorrow.) And running around without shoes on because anything else makes my feet hurt.
