I am such a sucker. I'm paying $490 for a new serpentine belt, rear tires, a tune up, an oil change, and some repairs to my transmission. Did I shop around? No, I stuck with Ralph because Ralph is friendly. Undoubtedly, Ralph is friendly because he is selling me a service for which he can overcharge me and I'll never know the difference.

Y'know, even so, I like Ralph.

Over the next few days I have to find a topper for my truck. That's really the last thing I have to do before I leave Florida. They're around $150. I haven't even left the state and I'm already bleeding money. The way things are going I'm going to be broke by mid-January.

The amount of self-control it's going to take to not spend extravagant amounts of money getting noodles at Ollie's every day- yes, I'm a little obsessed with Ollie's, and it's not the greatest restaurant on earth, but is IS where I saw Woody Allen and the hostile service is really refreshing- and christmas shopping and appliances and reimbursing my new roommate after I burn all of his Hello Kitty paraphrenalia...

I'm actually a little worried. I'm awful with a budget. My friends are going to have to make certain I stick to my Budweiser and ramen diet. Thanks, guys.

At least my preferred method of waking up- and my preferred location for doing so- will once again be available to me, at long last.
